Indo-Pak armies exchange gunfire along LoC in Rajouri

Jammu, Jan 01 (KNO): The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshehra sector of Rajouri district.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that from 03:25 PM onwards, heavy ceasefire violation is going on in areas of Nowshera sector while Jhanger forward and what Makdi villages are worst affected.

“More than ten kilometers of LoC stretch is under intense mortar shelling as we as post to post fire,” said officials, adding that Indian Army is retaliating befittingly.

They added that there are no reports of any loss so far but an intense shelling is going on—(KNO)
