Army man killed after suffering bullet injury in Budgam village

An army man was killed after suffering a bullet injury in Drang village of Khag tehsil of central Kashmir’s Budgam district shortly after midnight, sources said.
A source said that the army man received a bullet injury in his thigh during a late-night search operation in Drung village.
“He was rushed to PHC Khag where from he was referred to JVC Srinagar where doctors declared him as brought dead,” he said.
Hospital sources told Greater Kashmir that the trooper had received a bullet injury in his left high and succumbed due heavy blood loss.
The deceased was identified as Subedar Rajkumar of 53 Rashtriya Rifles stationed at Drang.
