Braid cutting incidents unacceptable: Freedom Party
Srinagar, Sep 27: The Democratic Freedom Party has expressed serious concern over the incidents of braid cutting in south Kashmir areas particularly in Kulgam and termed it unacceptable.
The party termed the failure of police and administration in nabbing the culprits as deliberate conspiracy. It said to arrest innocent children, police searches them in nook and corner in no time but has failed to arrest the culprits involved in braid cutting. Such acts are unacceptable, it said.
Meanwhile, the DFP has paid rich tributes to Hizbul Mujahideen commander Abdul Qayoom Najar who was martyred on Tuesday and termed him as a great warrior and a renowned policy maker of the freedom movement. The party expressed grief over the martyrdom of Qayoom Najar and extended condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
The party also hailed the services of Dr Mehraj-ud-Din Munshi who passed away on Tuesday. Expressing condolence and solirity with the bereaved family, the DFP said the deceased had rendered numerous services towards society and the freedom movement.
